Update HTC One X to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean official firmware
Finally HTC has released the official Android 4.1.1 jelly Bean update for HTC One X. Today we will guide you
to install the latest Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean firmware on your HTC One X. You will get a brand new HTC watch app,
two new gallery app view and Google Now on your device after installing the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean firmware.
In this article we will provide a step by step tutorial to update your device with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
firmware. Before proceeding make sure you back up all important data, apps and APN settings as a precaution

Things to keep in mind:
This tutorial is only for HTC one X (HTC-6.1) on ROM x.xx. 709.X .You are advice not to try this tutorial on any other variant.
You should back up all your data and apps before proceeding.
This update is not an official update from HTC.
You should lock the boot loader and should have stack recovery on your device.
STEPS :-
1. Download Android 4.1.1 Firmware pack for HTC One X and rename it with update.zip.
2. Now you need to connect and mount your device with your PC by the help f USB.Transfer the update zip file to your device’s SD card. Keep it in the root directory.
3.Switch off your device.
4. Now switch on your device by pressing and holding the volume down + power button to get your device in the fast boot mode.
5. You need to follow the instructions given on your screen. After that select the BOOTLOADER and go to Recovery.
6. Now scroll down to “flash update from SD card” and select it by hitting the power button.
7. Once installed, reboot your device. Booting process may take few minutes.
